Terms
These terms apply when you book an appointment with Who Cares, a one-person beauty studio in South Shields · NE33.
Booking
Your appointment is confirmed as soon as you finish booking, and the confirmation carries the full studio address. Nothing is taken up front at the moment — the whole amount is settled in the studio on the day.
Choosing a time holds it for a short period while you finish. If you do not complete the booking within that period the slot is released so other people can book it.
Prices
Prices are those shown on the treatments page at the time you book, and the price of your treatments is fixed at that moment — a later price change does not affect a booking you have already made.
Some treatments are quoted rather than fixed. Nail art starts at £5 and depends on the design; repairs are free within a week of your appointment and chargeable after that. Where a treatment is quoted, you will be told the price before any work begins.
Payment
Online payment is not switched on at the moment, so nothing is taken when you book and no card details are asked for. The full amount is paid in the studio on the day.
Cancellations
Please cancel more than 24 hours ahead where you can, so the time can be offered to somebody else. Nothing is charged for cancelling, because nothing has been taken. Full detail is on the deposits and cancellations page, which forms part of these terms.
Your responsibilities
- Tell us about allergies, skin conditions, medication or anything else that could affect a treatment. If in doubt, mention it — it is never a nuisance.
- Have a patch test at least 48 hours before any tinting treatment. This is a safety requirement and an insurance condition.
- Arrive on time. Arriving late may mean your treatment has to be shortened or rebooked.
Refusing or stopping a treatment
A treatment may be declined or stopped where it would not be safe — for example an active skin infection, a reaction during a patch test, or where required information was withheld. Where that happens through no fault of yours, you are not charged.
Results
Beauty treatments vary from person to person, and nail wear depends on how hands are used afterwards. Repairs are free within a week of your appointment — please just ask.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Changes
These terms may change. The version that applies to your appointment is the one published when you booked it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
